SUMMIT COUNTY — The Summit County coroner’s office says that a July 27 death at Copper Mountain appears accidental, but may have been alcohol-related.
The coroner’s office responded to a call at the Edge employee housing complex at Copper after 40-year-old Brandon White fell from a sixth-floor window.
From the coroner’s press release:
“Evidence points to an accidental event. The decedent appears to have been drinking alcohol. The investigation is ongoing but the fall was not witnessed. No foul play is suspected and the decedent was alone. He has been identified as Brandon White and had been working in Copper Mountain for the last 6 weeks. Toxicology tests are pending and are expected to take at least two weeks.”
