SUMMIT COUNTY — The EPA is going global with social media for Earth Day, inviting people around the planet to share their photos on the agency’s State of the Environment group on Flickr.
The idea is to get a global snapshot of Earth Day, with a variety of images taken on 4.22.12 to be compiled bin a map of the moment. (more…)

Along the way …
Umm, I guess we're not in Colorado anymore!

SUMMIT COUNTY — Every now and then you see a sign that’s worth taking a picture of, even if it’s only to remind you that you’re not in your home stomping grounds. I’m currently in Florida, where the legends of aggressive gators are rampant, though the only one we’ve seen so far was a rather cute mid-sized specimen hanging out in the water outside a Myakka River seafood joint, hoping for a handout, no doubt.
