• Centaurus High pipe bomb suspect, 16, charged with attempted murder May 24, 2013
  The 16-year-old accused of leaving a device similar to a pipe bomb at Lafayette's Centaurus High School last week was charged with attempted murder and four other felonies this morning as prosecutors say evidence showed he had a "long-term interest in explosive devices" and may have had a larger plan.
