SUMMIT COUNTY — It’s time for short #FriFotos post and with this week’s theme of holy places, I started with a traditional church shot, then looked for a few images that were a little outside the realm of the everyday definition. After all, a holy place can be very personal. For me, there’s no place more holy than standing on a mountaintop; for the ancient Maya, the deep caves of Belize and the Yucatan were spiritual refuges, and for early Austrian Catholics, the entire Hallstatt Lake became a venue for a floating Corpus Christi Day Mass.
