SUMMIT COUNTY — Summit County sheriff’s deputies ran down an armed suspect in a domestic violence case last week, successfully arresting Christopher Lawhorn (aka Chris Farwell) at Copper Mountain after shooting him with Less Lethal Beanbag rounds and calling a K-9 unit for support.
Lawhorn was wanted on one felony warrant and two misdemeanor warrants stemming from a domestic violence case in Idaho Springs, Colorado. Information from the Idaho Springs Police Department indicated Lawhorn may be armed with a shotgun and/or pistol.
Summit sheriffs learned that Lawhorn was working in the basement of The Edge employee housing facility at Copper Mountain, and attempted to contact him at that location. (more…)
