FRISCO — It ain’t over til it’s over, but I do think the only place we’re going to see winter for a while is the rear view mirror. These Instagram-filtered shots were all taken in the past few weeks, showing the slow transition from winter to spring.

One of the first snow-free (at least in the valley shots, taken in early May at the Meadow Creek wetlands in Frisco.

I didn’t really get the composition I wanted for this shot up at Ute Pass, but to do so would require a pretty tall ladder, and, now that I think about it, I might go back and do that someday, since it’s only a few hundred feet off the road!
