Morning photo: River set

Winter water …

FRISCO — For the first time in a few weeks, I zipped up to one of my favorite spots along the Snake River for a quick morning photo session, hoping to catch some of that thick riverside frost on the trees and bushes. In the end, I ran out of camera battery before getting the shot I wanted — my own fault, as I forgot to charge them last night. And a slight overcast muted the light, which made it a little harder to catch some of the nuanced tones in the canyon. But I was still happy with a handful of images. Winter in Colorado ROCKS!
