• Lime Gulch fire: Evacuations ordered in southern Jeffco June 20, 2013
  A fast-moving, unpredictable wildfire forced more than 100 people to evacuate their homes on Wednesday afternoon. At 6:45 p.m., the U.S. Forest Service estimated the fire at 500 acres.

  A Colorado grand jury has indicted 12 people on allegations that they ran three medical-marijuana dispensaries as a front for an investment scam and an illegal marijuana-growing operation.
