Still waiting for winter
FRISCO — Autumn is lingering this year, and winter seems in no hurry to make an appearance quite just yet. That means cold mornings with frost on the grass and warm, sunny afternoons, filled with warm light. And November sunrises and sunsets are legendary in the high country, as high-elevation weather patterns change, building sweeping wave clouds over the crests of the mountains. I used several different iPhone apps and filters to give the pictures in this series a little extra zing, all except the last shot, taken at the I-70 scenic overlook.
