Police looking for another passenger of vehicle that involved in Sept. 29 wreck

SUMMIT COUNTY — Breckenridge resident Maverick James Bain, 24, is being charged with several felony and misdemeanor offenses following a Sept.29 accident on Ski Rill Road that killed one of the passengers in the Jeep Bain was driving.
According to the Breckenridge Police Department, officers responded to the scene of the rollover accident at about 2:14 a.m. Saturday morning, finding a white Jeep turned on its passenger side.
A witness reported hearing a vehicle traveling up Ski Hill Road at a high rate of speed when they saw the Jeep enter into a right hand curve, begin to slide, over correct and then roll.
Breckenridge Police discovered a passenger that had been ejected from the vehicle; CPR was being performed on the victim, who later died. Bain was charged with the following offenses:
Vehicular Homicide 18-3-106(b)(1) Felony
Vehicular Assault 18-3-205(b)(1) Felony
Driving under the influence 42-4-1301(1)(a) Misdemeanor
Driving under the influence BAC greater than .08 42-4-1301(2)(a) Misdemeanor
Reckless Driving 42-4-1401 Misdemeanor
Bain is currently being held in the Summit County Jail on $15,000 bond.
Bain had four passengers in the Jeep he was driving, one of which was transported to Summit Medical Center in Frisco with minor injuries. Another passenger was interviewed at the Breckenridge Police Department.
Breckenridge Police are now seeking assistance in locating a fourth passenger, Andrew Lee Kirk, 24, of Broomfield. Individuals with information on Kirk’s whereabouts are requested to contact the Breckenridge Police Department at (970) 668-8600/
