Sweet September
FRISCO — It’s not often that you get two good drizzly-misty, rainy mornings in a row in the Colorado high country, but when you do, it can be magical for photography. Wednesday, the clouds lifted right around sunrise, making for sparkling scenes, with some lingering clouds for texture and depth. Thursday, rain clouds moved in about the same time of day, leaving only a few glimpses of the peaks but setting up a spooky pre-Halloween vibe in the aspen groves along the Ptarmigan trail. And, well, there’s nothing like the smell of wet sage.
