An early morning jogging tour included a flag-bearer as the group stopped in McPherson Square, recently one of the hotspots for the Occupy DC movement.

Getting it just right!

Not just Americans celebrate Independence Day. These two French youngsters are aware of the contribution their countryman, Lafayette, made to the American Revolution.

Demonstrators and free speech advocates of all stripes were lining up at Lafayette Park to have their moment on a soapbox on a day dedicated to liberty and freedom.
