Sandstone, clouds and … the moon!
This red sandstone boulder in the Pine Cove area stands out like the proverbial sore thumb as an unusual geological relic. This type of rock is more comment when you go west toward the Vail Pass area.
SUMMIT COUNTY — Today’s photo essay features some funky in-between weather and few random shots squeezed off during dog-walking sessions, highlighting my efforts to find interesting photos in the everyday spots that I visit on a regular basis.
The moonset a day after the much ballyhooed super moon wasn’t so bad.
