Summit snapshots

Not so much color, but a lot of texture in this early morning sky over Dillon Reservoir.
SUMMIT COUNTY —Not much to say about these images, except that you’ve got to get up awfully early to catch the sunrise these days. It is early May, after all, closing in on the solstice and start of summer. Amazing how fast the seasons can slip by.

Blue morning.

Aspen catkin.

Remember what a living lodgepole forest looks like?

Looking west from the tip of the Frisco Peninsula.

Late April splashcicles along Straight Creek.

Still water.
