Around the county …
A big sky over Guyot, Baldy and Dillon Reservoir.
SUMMIT COUNTY —A couple of short excursions, mainly exercise the dogs (and myself) yielded a few good images, showing the coming of spring, in contrast with some of last year’s dried seed pods and flowers. And even though it doesn’t fit, I couldn’t resist throwing in the image of the bright red Chevy, parked at the Farmers Korner water treatment plant, because it just seemed to fit with the funky spring theme.
Sapphire Point view.
Just for contrast with all the nature pics — a Chevy!
You don't really think much of them when you see a big willow bush starting to bud out, but take a closer look at this cool flower!
And in contrast to this year's new growth, a seed pod from last summer.
Last year's flower.
