SUMMIT COUNTY — It’s hard NOT to find spectacular views in Summit County, whether it’s from a freeway overlook, alongside Summit Boulevard or even from residential areas in local towns. It’s part of the reason we all live here. Here are a few images taken from random roadside spots, or, in the case of the next two pictures, from the Summit Voice weather deck.

I've always be fascinated by the contrast between cool, blue winter shadows and the warmth of the early morning sun.
