Snowboard halfpipe finals set for Saturday, Dec. 10
SUMMIT COUNTY — Friday’s action at the U.S. Grand Prix at Copper Mountain included the men and women’s halfpipe skiing finals, with American skiers taking first in both contests. Brita Sigourney beat last year’s winner Roz Groenewoud by more than five points in the women’s event, while Wing Tai Barrymore edged out Torin Yater-Wallace in the men’s event. Summit County local Duncan Adams finished third.

The snowboard halfpipe finals (men’s and women’s) are set to begin Saturday at 12 p.m. and part of the day’s events will stream live at this Copper Mountain/U.S. Grand Prix website.
8am – 4pm: Registration Open
8:40am – 10:30: Snowboard Women’s Qualifying
Noon – 1:30pm: Snowboard Halfpipe Finals (awards immediatly following)
7pm – 8:30pm: Paul Mitchell Progression Session
9pm – 11pm: FREE Digital Underground Concert at Jack’s
