
Four members of the Summit County Rescue group have joined the search for a pair of hikers missing north of Tarryall Reservoir, in Park County.
Summit County Rescue Group team called back before reaching scene
SUMMIT COUNTY — A Park County search and rescue team found two missing campers in a late-winter blizzard Friday afternoon.
According to mission coordinator Dan Burnett, the campers walked away from their camp site north of Tarryall Reservoir sometime Thursday evening and never returned.
Four members of the Summit County Rescue Group were sent to help with the search, but were called back before they arrived at the scene.
The reservoir is located southeast of Jefferson.
